Hangover Remedy

ok so i've actually put this receipe to the test....drinking for 3 straight nights in Vancouver and i had to be up early each day to go to meetings. I watched this video online about how to make this shake and what better time to put it to the test. and it made me feel great everyday. SO...sharing my knowledge....do this:

now i didnt follow the directions exactly and it still worked so it's gotta be good:

MIX in a blender: blueberries, strawberries, pineapple ( i used a can but i'm sure fresh would be better?) and a banana..WITH 1.5 cups of vanilla soy milk and .5 cup of 100% orange juice

ADD a dash of salt and a dash of cayenne pepper

so mix that all up, chug away and THEN:

take a : vitamin B, vitamin C, tylenol and ibprofen with a huge glass of water

TA DAAA! i guarentee you'll feel a lot better then you would have without this shake!!

Dear DrunkDinks....

ever since i've got my new bike i take a certain path to and from work now. and everyday i forget about the stupid broken glass by the highschool and ride over it with my bike. so far haven't got a flat tire but i won't be surprised when i do. anyways. why do people feel the need to smash a bottle? and not only one bottle...there's a few different spots on that street with broken-ness.

You might be thinking...."how do you know it 's drunk people?" well...let's get serious...who else would it be? and i'm sorry but my money is on the french skids around town. i realize it could be aussies...but i think at the end of the day aussie's are real nice and always are happy so i just can't see them getting satisfaction out of breaking a bottle. could it be highschool kids? iiiii really doubt it, they've grown up in banff and know how terrible it is to litter in this town let alone smash botttles right outside their school. that goes for anyone you think it could be that's lived here longer than 2 years. when you develop a home in such a town that cares so much for it's look and enviromental concious lifestyle you just morally would not smash bottles? at least...i hope not!!

and if your thinking "whoa meesh, just go a different way, or why not remember and go around?" i say... "eat me"

so to the retards that keep smashing bottles on beaver street ? (i think that's the street the highschools on?) STOP IT!

while i'm at it: to the people that LIVE on that street and your driveway has glass around it...sweep it up F*CK! ya you can be mad and it sux but it's your property. so do something about it.

here's an amazing thing to do when you are bored. my friend Renee got me quite good at the shop one night. there's many different pranks to choose from, you only get 3 free pranks a day so use wisely and choose people that will prolly pick up their phones. ie: friends you know are at work and must pick up ;) wink

OH and here's the best part..make sure to click the lil boxy thing that asks if you want to record the conversation...because you DEFINATLY want to do this. F* bomb it's so funny to hear your friends fall for something so ridiculous....I got Mari with the 20 pizza one, and she thought sum dood was gonna come kick her ass lol!

For those of you that don't know....Me and G have sum major plans for Heads or Tail for Spring 2011!!

I just went to a tradeshow in Vancouver and i'm off to another in Sept.

You will still be able to get your everyday pleasure finders and "smoking" accessories of course. that would just be silly of us to get rid of those....but we are also going to be carrying sum lines of clothing...not like the clothing that used to be in here (some of you may remember) but we are going for more Boutiquey casual dressy but inexspensive!! Working and living in Banff for so long i've seen and felt the need to look good but can't afford to blow my whole paycheck to do so. There are tons of skate/snow/surf shops so if you need a Roxy tee HIGH FIVE you can get it but if you aren't the label type and wanna make looking good effortless WE will be that place for you!

So therefore we will be doing our best to bring in lines that are resonabley priced for all of us here in Banff that dont make a crazy amount of cash.

So ya just wanted to give you all the "Heads" (<----clever aren't I? ) up on our goal here at the shop!

An obvious choice....

So one time awhile ago, my tide to go pen ran out, my co-worker at Giorgios at the time noticed and said i should get the "clorox" pen instead cuz it's ammmaaazing....so i did.

Bad mistake.... yes i get that it's a bleach pen, but it sux. straight up. I used it on my teal shirt to get off jager, yes i know dumb, but i didnt want it to stain. so um ya, obvious now i was left with a white dot , therefore then tye dying the whole thing which is now a sweet shirt but BESIDES that point, i even tried it on a white shirt and because i couldnt throw it in the wash right away, i was left with a yellow dot. ugg.

So the point of this is to help everyone not get the clorox pen and stick with the TIDE TO GO! you can use it anywhere and it works like a dream on anything!! i even used it to get blk eyeliner out of my carpet. and now you know!

DANCING SASQUATCH REVIEW!!

Alright, so these pictures don't give the club too much justice but i ain't no pro photographer (cue chris messervey http://www.messerveyphoto.com/blog.php?pageID=blog and jess hunter http://www.jessikahunter.com/) but here we go:

So from the moment i walked through the underground entrance and perfectly themed "line waiting roped" area i immediatley had the feeling something great was gonna happen. Seein' as i've visited Vegas a couple times in my day, i've had the chance to see sum pretty spectacular clubs....so back to the walking through the entrance....it's dark, your not quite sure wut to expect. I instantly did feel bad for the coat check and door girls because they wont see the upstairs action at all. BUT anyways on to the bathroom...adorable for ladies, a cute lil pink bench inside and great textured wallpaper ;) very great attention to detail. OHHH and heads up to tha ladies that like to go into the stall together..."they" knowwww wut is happening.

ok on to the MAIN EVENT....as i approached the top steps the smile grew on my face. your eyes go right to the massive light screen thing on the wall , i dont know the proper name for it. when you see it you'll know wut i'm talking about. Talkin' with one of tha main doods "Bryce" he informed that it is sensored to when people stand in front of it and does all sorts of cool things for ya. Also , the lighting that is a main focus above you is ridiculous. It's not exactly perfectly programmed (Pk sound doods are at sham this weekend that do it...but p.s. PK SOUND=HUGE THUMBS UP, if you've been to sham in the village stage you know how amazing that sh*t is) BUT when these lights are at their full potential you can expect to think it may be raining inside!! SICK!

Alright so this bars already got sick lighting and sound, the theme being a crazy party in the forest i pressume, perfect for our lil lovely mountain town....there was definatly no costs or details spared. The staff dressed head to toe in mountain gear...the babes are hot with their cute plaid tied belly tees and jean shorts complete with hikin' boots. The DJ booth is full viewing area, so it's great if you are stuck with no one to talk to you, you can just stare at the dj doing his awesome-ness! Oh and just to throw another smile at ya, they actually have their own mascott (can't spell) which is pretty creep lookin' as well. but he's furry and an AAAA-mazing dancer so ya gotta luv that kid!

Pricing is usual...$4.25 for hiballs and most shots...but here's tha kicker..you can also get their triples with a Monster can for $13.00 sick. Make sure to try their squatch bombs as well. tassstyyy beverages! side note: please tip your bartenders. they are on dry bar and gotta put up with our drunk a**es and gotta tip out to the door and bussers!

oh and for all you ladies that like to show it...there is benches by the windows to dance on, and all the passer-byers or suckers waiting in line can watch you. NICE!

well there you have it, i prolly forgot a lot...like according to Mineki there is gonna be a sauna area ;) but i suppose we will just have to wait and see if that happens. And remember you never neeeeeed to do those 6 shots with Dj Cain (playing thursdays and saturdays)....but as Garth would say... "Live in the nowww"

p.s. HIGH FIVE to tha dj last night...HEDSPIN! had that crowd loooooooooving their lives!!

OK, so i don't know if any of you have looked at the upcoming forcast for Banff but it ain't lookin so hot (noooo wayyyy) so like my ideas for wut to do when the sun is out, i'll do one for wut to do when it's sh*t out.

1. rent a tv season you haven't watched, and get intooo it!!

reccomenations: gossip girl, weeds, sons of anarcy, breaking bad

2. OR rent those classic funny movies you remember watching when you were a kid

3. stop by heads or tail, we have tons of "items" that can kill time in many ways (wink wink)

4. be brave, throw on those old shoes and go for a trek around fenlen loop in the mud! get muddy!

5. booze at the rose n' crown! perfect spot!

6. cruise into calgary and go see a new hot flick at the cinema

7. do those errands/chores you've been putting off cuz it's been sunny-time to catch up!!

8. plan a poker game with the boys/girls or if poker ain' t ur thing...monopoly!!

9. have a pot luck with homies

10. hit up the sally b for a swin and hot tub/hot springs (pretty amazing in the rain)
